My mother is making me a quilt and wants to know were you can buy a quilting frame. Please and thank you for results!!!!!!!!!

There are so many different types of quilting frames, it really depends on what she's looking for. They range from multi-thousand dollar machine quilting frames that take up half the room (the machine sits on a platform that rolls), to small lap quilting frames that look like large embroidery hoops. Grace Frames has frames that run the entire gamut. The link below is to the hoops, but click on the frames link at the top of the page to see larger frames for machine or hand quilting.

You can buy quilting frames on line, also at larger quilt shows and at some sewing stores. Smaller, hand held quilting frames can be purchased at some craft or fabric stores. If you're looking for the large type, it's worth it to go to the big quilt shows to look at them in person. If you've got someone handy around, they can also be made fairly easily.
