Luke 14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. (and it's not a mistranslation, the greek word is "miseo" which is accurately translated as "hate")

Laptop Jesus? Alrighty then. We cannot know everything about the times when the bible was written and what was meant. And I think God made the bible that way so that we will have to seek him on contradictory scriptures such as this. That's when you listen to your heart and my heart tells me that He is telling us not to put them before Him, to love them less than Him and yes, I do that. And you??
