Christ-ianity should be about "Christ":
- "is the end of the law" (Romans 10:4)
- "is the Saviour of the world" (John 4:42)
- is our peace who abolished the law (Eph 2)
Sadly "false Christs shall arise" & "false prophets"
have resulted in many false (so-called) Christ-ians,
who impishly law impute sin & death for the hell of it.
Most ppl don't know difference between Jesus & Christ:
Jesus: "division" & not peace: Mt 10:34; Lk 12:51; Jn 7:43
Christ: "peace" & not divided: Jn 14:27; 1Cor 1:13; Eph 2
Pst - mark & avoid them which cause divisions: Rom 16:17
Jesus: made under the law, and of woman
Christ: the end of the law, and of transgression
Pst - ye are not under the law, but under grace
To wit: that God was in "Christ" reconciling the world.
And the word of reconciliation given to us is "grace".
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

The ball got rolling with Jesus and the disciples. These men were apocalyptic Jews and Jesus felt that he had some responsibility to take on the corrupt temple of the day and restore the law (the old testament) to the people. He was executed for fear that he would incite riots among the people. Many years later the Christian faith as we know it today began to take shape under the apostle Paul. It was said that Paul had a vision of Jesus while he was persecuting the Christians who at the time didn't all have the same beliefs. Under his leadership the christian faith, pretty much as we know it today began to take form.
Why did these people do these things? Nobody can say for sure.

In Hebrew Christ means Messiah. The Greek translation of this word meant anointed. Jesus Christ announced himself as the Messiah or anointed one by His life death and Resurrection.
He came as the fulfillment of the Jewish Law of the Old Testament. You can read the prophecy of the coming of the Messiah in the book of Isaiah:" A child is born to us, a light has shown among the darkness." His mission was to save us from the slavery of sin, to reunite us to God the Father. Jesus said," I am the way the truth and the Life , nobody comes to the Father except through me. " Incidentally it was the Christian community at Antioch that Jesus followers first called themselves Christians.

Christian Answer: God Himself, The Big Cheese, The Father of Us All, Source of Inspiration to both John and the Son (Jesus), and so on
Historical Answer: This has yet to be proven, as does the actual existence of Jesus. The Christian Gospels, however, started appearing around 400 C.E. and were written by members of a group of Jews who had branched off from more conventional practices.
Why? Whoever it was that started it, his/her/its/their point was to get a certain group of people to obey certain laws. Whether these laws were created by man or divine judgement is the subject of many a heated debate.

Some people think that it was started by Jesus Christ , but they were wrong . I think that the start of the church is a start of Christianity . (CHRISTIANITY is not a religion , it is a living relationship with Jesus Christ)
