Camilla - sounds like you have exactly the same kind of hair as me. My hairdresser always says that it's "fine, but there's a lot of it".
I use John Frieda's Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner, and my hair is always noticeably thicker looking after I've used it.
If that doesn't work, try a root perm. That's when they treat the hairs at the root, and it gives your hair more body (doesn't look like you've actually had a perm).

I NEVER use a conditioner. Shampoo only. As your hair is fine, its unlikely you will need conditioner. Conditioners sometimes can be too heavy on hair. If you wish for a spikey look, that has nothing to do with conditioner, it's all in the cut. Use shockwaves products which are very good in keeping short spikey hair in style.

Styling moose has plenty of conditioner. The spiky look is in the cut, it's called texturizing. Like a razor cut. The flippy ends are done with a flat iron. On short hair use a thin flat iron or a large metal round brush and roll the hair up while heating up the brush with the blow dryer. Then use spiking wax and pull the spikes. Look at Halle Berry's short spiky cuts

the final difficulty to do is to bypass to a stylist and get your hair thinned out. that would desire to take out the frizz. Then ask them how they could get their hair decrease in the event that they have been you. If that would not help then leaf with the aid of a number of there snip books and discover the type you like. After this you've alluring hair guarinteed. believe me.

Pretty tough to do with wavy hair. I'd say don't fight it and enhance the "wave".
