ok, i have a project to do for english and i have to pick five songs to reflect myself. now oviously you dont know me. so do you have any sugestions on how to find songs thta reflect your self

I think so. Songs I like remind me of events in my past, just like certain times of the year or different scents. Therefore, they do reflect your inner thoughts.

There are many songs that reflect different people... listen to songs, and sometimes the lyrics or music will give you the feeling "That's EXACTLY how I feel!"
For example, I think this one Japanese song reflects me because it's an upbeat song about being lonely and living off of memories... I feel like I'm doing that, but I'm not the kind of person to stay down all the time.

That is an assignment I wish ANY of my teachers would've given...! Whatever songs you like are a reflection (or, more simply put, say something) of you... Just pick 5 songs you REALLY like and explain why you like them - what is there about the song that suits you personally... It's like Miss Demeanor says, "Listen to the words of a song you like and ask yourself, 'Are these words true about me, too?'"
But, it could be the music, too - is it noisy, confused, direct, abrupt, smooth, cool, quiet, etc...

Christina Aguilera's "hurt", "oh mother", "I'm OK" and "Fighter"
Nickelback's "Animals", "Savin Me", "Far Away" and so on...
all reflect me in some way.
Just think of what song or songs you really make a strong connection with, that really make you feel something, and you'll find the songs that reflect you.

When I listen to songs, I like to listen to what they mean. Just because you like it, it doesn't mean it reflects you. Listen to the words of a song you like and ask yourself, "Are these words true about me, too?"
