Your risk of several types of cancer are increased, and more so if you have a genetic predisposition to cancer causing cells. Besides that and, of course, the fact that it isn't legal for you to smoke, you are young and the damage you do to your body will reverse itself if you quit. Your are changing your body's ability to breathe, distribute oxygen to your brain and other organs, circulate blood properly and about thirty other things that your body does involuntarily to keep you alive. So, you need to ask yourself, why do you smoke? While at your age some people (also mostly your age) will form a certain opinion about what kind of person you are, once you hit about the twenty to twenty-two age group and older, most people think you just look weak and ignorant for not knowing what you're doing to your body and too lazy to help yourself (much in the same way most people view those who are morbidly obese). The fact that you're smoking such a small amout says to me that you don't need it, you just like it. I know. We can smell our own. When I quit I promised myself I would light up one or two whenever the mood struck me-this idea helped me quit cold turkey. I had one a couple of months later, a few a couple of months after that, another one about six months later, etc. The more time that passes the less I feel like I like it so the less I smoke. But the only reason I ever did smoke was because I liked it, the feel, the flavor, the smell even. If you can't pinpoint why you do it at all-then why do you do it at all?

Do you mean you are getting secondhand smoke? Or you are holding the cigarette?
You will ruin your body causing possible problems like cancer and heart disease.
You will not be able to breathe as well. This will affect your ability to move while doing things like sports as well as everyday activities like climbing stairs.
Your money will literally go up in smoke as you spend on cigarettes.
Your clothes will stink. Your teeth will turn yellow. Potential romantic partners will not want to kiss you.
You will possibly get in trouble with the law, since you are under the legal age for smoking or purchasing cigarettes.
It's really awful. There is no upside to smoking. Quit immediately.

Well, right now your lungs are covered with the remnants of cigar after awhile your lungs will have trouble functioning due to the excess amount of buildup that is when people usually develop lung cancer. Lung cancer is not the only type of cancer you can get from smoking colon cancer is also very common to smokers. Your mouth is also at risk to if you don't stop smoking your gums (if not already) will become severely infected you might also get cancer of the mouth possibly causing a tumor to develop. These are only some out of the many, many results of smoking. Its never too late to stop your body and your family will be glad you did.

You'll be more susceptible to colds
Your clothes will stink
Your breath will stink
Your fingers will become discolored
Your teeth will become discolored
The above WILL happen.
You are at a higher probability for getting cancers of all kinds, and other smoking related diseases like emphysema, heart disease, etc. And like the very first answerer said, you WILL die, sooner rather than later.
Quit now while it's still relatively easy.

I can't explain how much better I feel since I gave up smoking, I quit about two weeks ago. I do believe its ok to have a ciggarette or cigar once a week or something like that, but you need to be careful not to get re-addicted to it, just quit cigarettes cold turkey if you can and then if you feel like it a month from now have a cigar.

Your brain will focus better and hopefully your spelling will improve. :) Seriously, you will find more people smiling at you and standing closer to you. You don't realize it but your teeth are yellow, your breath is bad and your clothes stink! Would YOU want to be close to someone like that? Take the weed out of your mouth, put the cash in a little box and then take all the money you save in 6 months and treat yourself to a nice cashmere sweater! You'll have deserved it!!

Please stop now. My daughter started smoking at a young age & really regrets it now. She was some respiratory problems, she's not supposed to use some kinds of birth control if she's smoking. She just had an appendectomy & the doctor put her in a special room & kept her in the hospital another day because of that. I can put you in touch with her if you want to hear it from her.

You still have a chance. Start cutting down now. You don't have to go cold turkey, but limit yourself to 4 a day, then 3, then 2, etc... Trust me, I started out with one a day, and the habit is much worse only 6 years later. It's nasty, I know it, and swore I'd never do it. But I did.
Please take care of yourself.

Im a smoker, and trying to quit presently. Im 38, and let me tell ya, its going to cause you health problems. Smoking kills, and they need to just quit making them, cuz they are highly addictive.
You havent smoked long and you arnt smoking heavy YET. I would just put them down, and walk away.
I started when I was 15 also.
