There really is no other straighteners worth owning once you have used GHD straighteners you will NOT be going back. Use a good heat protector spray on your hair before blow drying and straightening and never straighten your hair when it feels even slightly damp this will damage your hair completely and you will end up with hair like straw.

They are one of the best hair straighteners I have used!! They are really good and don't take ages to heat up!
My hair can go very wavy when I wash it, but after I use GHD straighteners, my hair is super straight! They are much better than the cheaper straightners and they work on any hair type...
They are quite expensive, but they are a good investment as they last for quite a long time!
Hope this helps!

I think they are fantastic. I don't know what I would do without them!! I definitely am a follower of the religion of GHD's and recommend them to everyone.
I get my hair done at Toni and Guy and they use them too. I always use heat protection and the condition of my hair hasn't suffered too much for the price of vanity.

I would never use another brand of straighteners again. But as someone else has said you need to use plenty of protective products, as they heat to abut 220 degrees which isn't really all that good for your hair without a barrier there. Also regular trims are a good idea!

my hairdresser uses them and they are good but i got babyliss pro ones from the hairdressing wholesalers and they are as good as ghd but were £25. they go up to 220 0C and they have a safety button on them. if you plug them in they only heat after the button had beenpressed so kids wont get roasted.
my hairis really thick and long and they really straightenit and quickly too

hiya, i have used them and they are really good but they do damage your hair cos they get really hot. i would only recommend using them if your hair is really thick or curly, or if you dont use them every day, otherwise any other ceramic straighteners which dont get as hot should do just the job:)
