i had this amp maybe a month and i had a dual box and i and i had them both on bridges not parrareal wiring or nothing the protect light comes on but then it goes away and wont play my music at all tell me whats wrong plz!??!?!?

i done what u said on the 1st post and i smelt kinda a little burning it was freaking me out and i dident do it any more it kinda felt like the sub was pushing very very lightly any difference, u think its my subs or my amp cause the sub went on for 30 seconds or something like that

Sorry, but there's no way to tell you what the problem is on here.
I can try to help you diagnose the problem though.
First, disconnect the speaker wires coming out of the amp to your subs. Then turn your stereo back on and see if the protection light still comes on. If it does, then the amp needs to be repaired or replaced unless it isn't grounded properly (ground leads should not be longer than 18 inches or so).
If the protection light DOES NOT come back on then your subs are wired wrong and you need a pro to check it out for you.

turn the gain level down. And if the gain is all the way down turn down any bass boost you have. It sounds like you have an amp that likes to pull to much power for its own good, like my pioneer 760 watt. Or, you might have too weak of an amp for your 2 subs, and when you turn it up too loud, the lack of power causes a distortion called clipping that kills speakers. This may be what your amps protect function, "protects" from. but yea, first turn down gain and bass boost and see if you get a difference.
