I would definately agree with the anonymous tip thing...call from a pay phone and have prepared details..but no matter what you do..don't tell anyone who you are.

The last thing I would do is go waltzing down to the local police station and turn them in for it..not because I think drugs are cool..but because I would be awfully scared that they, or one of their relatives, might come shoot me in the middle of the night..(and drug dealers tend to do that kind of thing)..

If you do decide to openly turn them in..you also better plan on moving..a long ways away..after you testify..just in case they try to find you..(I doubt that they will incarcerate all of them..and I doubt that it will be for long)..

Don't get me wrong..I'm not saying don't turn them in..DO IT..and do it as quickly as you can..that is what they deserve..but don't risk your family in the process...

Of course you can. Just go to your local police department (or station) and tell it to them. Go in there and say something like "I have a strong believe my neighbors are selling drugs and grow weed. Is there anything that can be down about it? I am worried about my neighborhood's safety."
They will watch them for few days, and then go in there with the dogs. If they find something, they will take them out of the neighborhood by arresting them and sending them to jail. They will go to prison or to the correctional facility after the court process. The laws are VERY hard on drug dealers these days. They will not be able to make it out of it.

You don't have to worry about your anonymity. The last thing the drug dealer would do is to have a body on his record when he already been busted. Go to the station/ Those other answerers watch too many hollywood movies. he-he

Most police departments have a drug enforcement unit in them. I would look up your local PD and see if they have one. If they do, I would suggest that you give them a call and tell them what you know. You do not have to leave your name, address or phone number. They will be interested in anything you have to tell them. If they don't have a drug enforcement unit, just call the PD and tell them you have some information about drugs being grown and sold in your neighborhood. If you are worried about the caller ID, call from a pay phone. The only way someone will find out that it was you who called is if you tell someone. Just call and keep the information about the call to yourself.

Get a good video camera with a zoom lens. when you are filming, be sure to narrate the date and time, a Date/Time generator on the camera is better.. get license plate numbers, weed patches and peoples faces if you can. When you think you have what the Police are looking for on film, give them a call and tell them what you have. They'll come see you.

Call and tell the police and then they will check it out and keep watch on the house. I had the same thing happen in my neighborhood. It took a while but they finally got caught and went to jail. Keep calling the police til something is done.

Without placing yourself in a dangerous situation, probably not. If you are not alone and your hubby will stand by you, pay attention to the times that the most people are at the home, and you'll find a pattern At the height of the pattern, call. Good luck...invest in Kevlar.

call the local PD from an unlisted or blocked phone number. Don't tell them you live 2 doors down. give them the street address and names of anyone involved.. do not give your name.. you allowed to remain anonymous. you may want to ask for someone from the drug task force of for a supervisor or Sargent. give them as much detail as possible. then let it go. they will do their own investigation, or turn it over to the local drug task force.

you may want to video tape the traffic, get the licence number of the cars, and the faces of teh people who go there... you can give this to teh police annonymously too.

here is another way to look at this, you say they have been there a year, more than likely the police already knows what is going on and are building a case against them and are trying to get to the bigger guy that supplies them (the home drug dealers).
just a thought.

call the non emergancy number of your local police.

But often police know where all the drug sellers live, what they need is a good witness that can get them a warrant to search the house, someone who has saw the drugs, saw a drug deal that can be used to get a warrant

You can call your local police department and tell them about the selling and growing. They won't use your name when they speak to them/arrest them but you may have to testify if they are arrested and need to go to court. Good Luck!
