Yes, I am employed at Sobeys of Canada with over 1,300 stores nation wide. We sell clementines all the time, price here is $5.99 for a 10 pound box. We also have mandarins which we also sell, presently $4.99 for a 5 pound box. The clementines are sweeter than manderins and they are local North American produce while Mandarins are imported from China and packaged here. We also sell Chinese Pommellos which is there version of our grapefruit only larger and with a more sweeter taste.

Yes, we sell Clementines in Canada - right now they are coming into season - you will notice them in boxes at any grocery store - and you will find lots of them - they are like about 3 to 4 dollars a box at this time of year.

And no, clementines are not the same as mandarines

Of course you can get clementines in Canada... they appear around your local Loeb's, A&P, Sobey's or what-have-you in those crates about this time of year. Go to the store, they'll have them. And no, mandarins are different.

From what I understand a Clementine is a deep red-orange, often seedless mandarin orange that is often also marketed as a tangerine. They are grown in warm climates but also sold in cooler climates.
