Just wondering, cos it must be a good few years ago. Was at the Celtic - Utd game, one the best European games i've been at. Also good to see the Gers getting a result. At least thats sommit for you to do after new year ;). It's great to see both teams doing well in Europe, must be pre 90's i'd imagine since we were both doing this well.

The last time both Rangers and Celtic were in Europe after Christmas was in 1972. Celtic reached the semifinal of the European Cup but were knocked out by Inter Milan and Rangers reached the final of the European Cup Winners' Cup and beat Moscow Dynamo 3-2 to lift the trophy.

The hoops have an identical job as final year. an rather good team predicted to win the gang ( guy Utd final year, Milan this year) and we could beat out Benfica returned for 2d, so if we could do it final year, we are in a position to do it this year. What i don't understand is that final year we've been in Pot 2 and Benfica substitute into in Pot 3 and we finished forward o them, yet this year we moved right down to 3 and Benfica moved as much as two. As for the Gers, it may be super for Scottish soccer for them to extend aswell, yet you could not draw a tougher team than they have.
