Hey Tilly T, I was asked the same question by a guy and it truly means he's wants to know how many guys you have been sexually active with, and mind you if he asks you this I believe that he really wants you.

Usually when a person says the word personal it relates to sex and/or desire. He could be asking if you have ever had sex, or how many guys, or what you like.
