What you need to do is pick out what stands out the most to you in your dream. What is the most pressing, predominant, thing that stands out to you as you remember the dream.
I am guessing that the beer, ex-boyfriend and rice are the main things....
Rice --usually means that you are having a warm friendship or success or prosperity. However, rice Mixed with something usually means separation from friends.
Beer-- usually means you are happy but you could also use it to mean fogginess. Since the two were mixed together I think it means you simply are separated from an old friend.
Ex-boyfriend-- It usually means you are are finding yourself in a situation that you do not want to be in. You might be experiencing a similar relationship or situation which makes you feel unhappy and uncomfortable.
So, I'd say with the small amount of information I can see you told about it, this dream means you are uncomfortable in where you are now, you aren't entirely unhappy because you subconsciously dreamed about the positive aspects of the relationship you DID have with your ex.
If you have other information on the dream like more details, examine them in light of the main theme. Also, what did you watch on tv or listen to in a song or talk about, etc. before you went to sleep and had the dream.

Dreams often tell us what we really want or what we really do not want.
In most Asian cultures, rice symbolizes fertility. So I would expect that you might either really want to have a family with him, or you may be horrified by the idea.
In many cultures, beer symbolizes a time of celebration. So, I would expect that you are more inclined to want to get back with him.
Unless, of course, you have negative ideas about beer - maybe a family member had problems with drinking too much. In which case, you more likely want nothing to do with this guy.
