It's a Civil War and has been declared one by the Iraqi Defense Minister!
Actually the "Official" death toll for Iraqi's for those for the past 4 1/2 months is 10,538! Iraq claims it is lower, though the actual figures show it to be higher. The insurgents, who are Iraqi's, are increasingly targeting women!
I don't have a clue how anyone can claim it is anything other than a civil war as more innocent Iraqi's are dying in 1 day than Americans in 1 month! We claim it is a war! And if it isn't, just what the hell is it?

Your figure of 13 000 Iraqi killed during the last 4 months by insurgents could be true ...But , that is only one part of the killing..!!
The Guardian newspaper stated , on Oct. 11, 2006 , that an estimated 655 000 Iraqi killed since the invasion lead by US and UK , 100 000 of them killed during the 42 days of invasion ....
The Guardian essay was a summary of a detailed scientific study , prepared by the John Hopkins University - Bloomberg School of Public Health , in Baltimore .
This study reveals that the invasion was a mass killing , about 2380 in each day of invasion .However, after the occupation ,
most of the Iraqis were happy , because they get rid of Saddam Hussein , happy.... ..but only for few months , when they discovered that the occupation is a real OCCUPATION ,whether it be in .... Palestine , Afghanstan or Iraq , and they have to pay a price ...about 500 killing daily , according to the same study....
Therefore , you can now calculate the approximate number of people killed during the last 4 months . Please , remember that your figure should be more than 60 000 .....!!!
IS PETROLEUM.....worth all this killing and suffering ....???

3800 civillians died in October, which has been the bloodiest month of the war. 3300 in September. Yeah it's a bad place to be. So many of the highly educated are leaving the country that they are calling it a "brain drain." Reminds me of Germany in WWII.

Assume that it is. The correct description is 13000 people in Iraq have died. Iran and Syria are sending in people to cause havoc.

Probably, that's what's been reported. The really sad part is that it is Iraqis killing Iraqis.

nobody wants to call it a civil war , as well a war of occupation and nation-building. the more dead ragheads the better, they're all stark raving mad over there.. a lot of it is Payback time since the dictator was removed

Sounds to me like a civil war. But of course, there are those who would disagree.
