NO.
Go to the tanning bed. Go like 3-4 times, then once every month or two for upkeep. It will take the pale off you, yet not make you into a leather skinned hag. Use tanning booth lotion to keep your skin moist and tan even.

Jergens Natural Glow. They make one specifically for your face, and another for the rest of the body. It costs around $5 and Target also has its own brand right next to Jergens on the shelf.
Ignore the people saying you need to "go outside for once and get some sun". If you're genetically pale like I am, laying in the sun will probably cause you to burn before you ever tan, aside from the fact that it's late November. The lotion works fairly quickly yet gradually, so it doesn't look fake, and it's not orange. Try to remember to use it everyday for best results. It's also extremely hydrating which I find great.

First, I just want to commend you on wanting to use a self tanner, rather than the the sun (which causes skin cancer). Now, to answering your question -- yes, there is a self tanner that works without making you look orange. Jergens Natural Glow works great, since you are super white I would use the Dark one. It works fast, and it does not turn you orange. Just make sure to leave it on for at least fifteen minutes, before putting clothes on because it will stain your clothing.

I am pastey white too and have tried a hundred different tanners. have tried the Jergens but hate the smell and didn't really see much. Dove has a much better smelling one that I love and I get the one for medium skin even though I am light so I see the results faster. Didn't make me orange, and isn't too expensive, good for beginners, be sure to exfoliate before use,and use gloves to apply. I hope it works 4 u 2.

Jergens has a really great lotion out called Natural Glow. It is a daily moisturizer so it will keep your skin smooth and hydrated but it also gives you a nice sun-kissed look - nothing crazy! I think they also have different types available for different skin tones. I know many companies carry these kinds of products but I've only tried Jergens. I was pleased with how quickly it began to show (just a couple days). My only complaint is that it left my skin a bit greasy, however I have quite sensitive skin to that kind of thing! I would recommend looking for it at your local drugstore.

All the American products look orange and you can blame the FDA for that. If you have any connections in Europe, especially France, they have the best self tanning creams that don't look orange. Try tanning salons, the new spray is better than grocery store creams, but they still kinda look orange if overdone. Moderation is the key

All self tanners have the same active ingredient, so if one makes you orange all of them will. I would suggest going and getting a spray tan at a salon.

Stay as you are! I've seen so many girls with tans that don't match the colors of their eyes or hair - they always look like burnt barbies.
Furthermore, I think that the tanning fad has already peaked, keeping with your natural color is becoming more stylish - the "snow white" or porcelain look is definitely coming back.

I've been using Dove Summer Glow, its a self tanning moisturiser, so it builds up a tan. Its good because there's one for fair/medium and another for medium/dark skin, so you shouldn't go orange (I haven't and I'm very pale). It doesn't streak either.
