I have the same problem. The only dandruff shampoo I ever got to work on my hair is one from Panteen. However sometimes it is not dandruff but some other skin problem which you need a medication from the doctor.

Ask your pharmacist. There are stronger dandruff shampoos available over the counter. If one of them doesn't work, you will need to get a prescription shampoo from your doctor or dermatologist.

Some people swear by holy water but others say the holy water in church fonts is contaminated with fecal matter from people's dirty hands...Ewww! so don't use that.
Seriously you are in the wrong section, L'Oreal makes a really good anti-dandruff shampoo, it's the best result I ever got, calm scalp no flakes at all and no itchy feeling.
