Honestly I would not dye my hair using over the counter products again. If you look at people like Sarah Jessica Parker who advertises for hair coloring they don't use their own product they have it done in a salon...here's why (and I quote my own stylist on this one) Over the counter products are made with metalic coloring. This drys, cracks and breaks your hair folicalls because when you color your hair you open up the folicalls to receive the color in but the over the counter stuff has nothing included that closes those folicals once it has taken in the color so they remain open. Think of it this way break a nail and it is fraid at the ends but when you sand it down it's smooth. same thing with hair and coloring, you have to have something to smooth it back down. When you go to a salon granted it can be more expensive but the right hair dresser will use all natural products to color your hair this is fair less damaging and will last longer AND look alot more natural.

I think it makes mixed races look exotic to have highlights, but to dye it all one color just looks too much. As with caucasions too- like platinum blond. One fake color is just too much.
So just go for light highlights for now, and maybe go thicker when we get closer to summer.

Mixed race women are usually very beautiful. Go with whatever you think you would look nice.

No, not at all. It's perfectly normal. I know many people whose hair is like that. To tell the truth it makes you look sexier.

Girls dye their hair blonde, black, red, and blondish/brown highlights all the time.
It wouldn't matter what race you are.
