I love to name animals, I have a yorkie-poo I named "Wookie", I had a dog named Winky once, he always winked at us. I got a kitty now that I named "Mosi", it means angel of my nightmares, and cat in Navajo tribal language. My little boy that is deaf had a nightmare, he said the kitty fights the monsters for him, so the name was perfect. I like "Roxy" Stormy, Flossie,Lucy,Benny,Kittyhawk,Jet,Blue,Taffy,Remi,Mr.Kitty,Big Boy,Pip is a great name, from the book "Great EXpectations"I also like Coco, Luca

it would be easier to suggest names for a puppy if you had a specific breed.
if you have the breed and the personality it would be so easy to give you the perfect name possible

Pick something funny, something you can relate to, and something all your friends will be baffled at. My neighbor's golden retriever is named "omai" or pronounced "oh my" because he always poops in the yard and they say "oh my he pooped in the yard again". See? If i were you, wait until you get the dog to name it. As soon as you see him or her, something about the envieronment, the dog, the clothes your wearing, or the world will stick out, and you will know what to name him or her.

I wanted my dogs names to mean something special so my girl dog is called annabel after my daughters last ever doll(baby annabel) and my boy dog is called Tom Tom, no not after sat nav but after the very first doll my daughter ever had. My daughter is 13yrs now, too old to play with her dolls but she'll never be too old to play with our dogs.
