Is it not caused by bad diet and therefore self inflicted?

And why are women always whinging about it? after all they don't suffer from it they manufacture it. It is us innocent men who are on the business end of it. Logic dictates therefore that it is men who really suffer from PMS.

Nice answers only please.

No it is not caused by bad diet, it's caused by hormones. I eat very well and suffer worse than anyone I know. I don't whinge about it, I whinge whilst I'm suffering from it...there's a difference. Logic dictates that men cannot suffer from PMS because they can never be pre-menstrual. Maybe men suffer from the effects of PMS, but logic would dictate that half the time they deserve it.

Some women suffer with PMS some women do not, I have suffered to the extent of passing out on a regular basis with pain, and being rushed to hospital, while my children watch and wonder what is happening to there mum, I try not to whinge as you put it, but I guess that's the price you pay for being a woman, as for yourself, I do think you need to be a little more educated as it was a woman that brought you into this world.

I think you need to experience it before you leap in with premature conclusions. Yes, men suffer from it too, I agree, but not as much as the women! Most women I know don't whinge - if you count whinging as making the most of an ailment. And diet can help but not completely.

Don't be a d*ck! Yeh I heard it is bad diet related but I am vegetarian so do I not get loads of vitamins and minerals. For protein I eat quorn meat substitue plus I also eat dairy and I have just started eating fish. Exercise helps and also not having a man around or other stress. My road rage gets bad then too.

I don't actually think it is self-inflicted. Diet has nothing to do with it. People with dietary problems will exhibit their symptoms at any time. PMS is definitely a hormonal problem.

And as for nice answers - DON'T BLOODY ASK ME WHEN I'M MENSTRUATING - OKAY???

Logic is that it is hormones cause they are needed to make babies as well so where did you come from then? or maybe thats self inflicted as well

I think that it depends on the person how bad their symptoms are. I know of a few men that go through their own type of "PMS" too!!!
