A man and his son are walking down the street when they see a big dog having sex with a small poodle. The son asks the father, "Daddy, what are they doing?"
The man stumbles for a while, then calmly says, "Why, they're making a puppy, son."
Later that evening during dinner, the wife is pressuring the man to go upstairs with her, so they do. The son goes in his room and tries to fall asleep, but there just is too much noise going on in the room next door. So he creeps out of bed, goes in the hallway and opens the other room. There he sees his mom lying on the bed on her back, totally naked, and his father is on top of her grinding away. So the son asks, "Daddy, what are you doing?"
Again, the man stumbles a little and says, "Why, we're making you a little brother or sister, son."
The boy replies, "Well, turn her over. I want a puppy!"

Go to this address. http://www.petfinder.com/
Almost every humane society and animal rescue association in the USA, I don't know about internationally, has all of their animals up on it. Type in your zip code and it will find you all the animals you specify closest to your area. For examplr, I found my two year old rabbit (adolescent) by typing in my zip, lop, age I wanted, and I didn't care about the gender. Don't get a puppy from the store: you can get these declawed, spayed/neutered, and potty trained if they're old enough. There are personality summaries for a lot, and pictures. Also, some of these animals will be put down if they aren't adopted.
PS- Before you adopt a puppy, consider it thoroughly. Are you ready for the responsibility of cleaning up after its messes, potty training it, etc? Will it get neglected because your daughter needs your time more? Will it have a loving home? Is there space in your house/apartment? Consider getting an older puppy, like a year or a year and a half that is potty trained, but don't rush into this.

I don't have any puppies but you can try the local animal shelter and on-line rescue organizations. Don't buy from a pet store, they support puppy mills (dogs and puppies live in filth--puppies are taken away from mommies too soon, etc.). Please research which dog personalities for your daughter--if she is young usually a good breeder will not let a small/toy dog go to a family with small children. The reason for this is that fact young children love to carry their puppy and sometimes hurt them (or worst), they love them and don't understand that they have to be careful when carrying them (carrying them by the neck).
Believe me, I know from experience (with 12 yr & 10 yr old sons @ the time), they begged for a dog and we got one. After the initial excitement wore off--Mom & Dad ended up being the ones taking care of the dog.
Good luck in your search and hopefully you can give a shelter or rescue dog a warm and loving home. Your daughter and your family will receive plenty of love from one of those animals.

Check out http://www.petfinder.com
Take into account your child's age, temperment, and maturity level before getting a dog.
Do research on how to keep your daughter safe from getting bitten, as most dog bites are to children from a known/family dog.

Try going to petfinder.com, they have some really nice dogs up for adoption of all ages, and adopting is much cheaper than buying.

Please consider adoption first!
There are MILLIONS of unwanted, homeless dogs sitting in shelters right now. The adoption rate of them is only 25-30%, which means the other 70-75% are euthanized.
PLEASE VISIT YOUR LOCAL SHELTER.

i can understand that you want a puppy.
but to be safe you should not be asking for dogs on the internet
you can think and be persuaded that the dog is perfect but trust everyone its not.
you hould find out what kind of dog it is that your daughter wants.
then you should look up reliable breeders.
