We are not killing our planet, we are just acting like long term illness (getting more time than a city size meteor would take) .

We do it due money, wrong intelectual assumptions, strong influence from positivism and live within Ideas world instead to get reality. Since industrial revolution, everything went into a wrong way, wrong assumptions.

Its better have a longer life but full of stress or a short life with happiness? Why civilized world invade with their industries Africa and south Asia to explore using slave like and without take care about ecoprocedures?

We will pass, kill ourselves and then, world will recover and try with another candidate.

greed & ignorance are the key human traits reponsible; manifested in the main western paradigm of a global industrial growth model (v stupid on a finite planet, as pointed out by the Club of Rome "limits to growth" 30-40 years ago.)
Alternative sustainable models are available, but most people are not aware of them or can't be bothered finding out. And those with power in the current system are happy to keep it that way.

Humans can't "kill" the planet, but we are changing it so that it will not sustain life, including human civilisation, as we know it. Gaia as a system of feedback controls will flip to another stable state and carry on.
