The healthiest fruit will be organic. Also tastier too. Probably depends on how you define healthy (calfories, vit/min content, fiber). I'd say cranberries would be a good bet considering all three of those - with tomatoes running a close second. But all fruit, preferably organic, will be healthy fare for most people. But don't give your dog grapes or raisins! I was shocked to learn last night that some dogs die from this! My dogs love frozen grapes...

Blueberries are reputed to be the healthiest. They have one of the highest ORAC values of any food. ORAC is a rating system for antioxidant power based on the phytochemicals and antioxidants in a given food and how they perform together and then give an overall rating to the food based on its performance. Blueberries are low in sugar. They're high in fiber. And research is constantly revealing their almost magical healing properties. They can also help promote urinary tract health. Research shows they contain compounds that help prevent the bacteria responsible for urinary tract infections. Also been shown to improve memory, offer protection against loss of balance and coordination and protection of blood vessels. Wild blueberries show the greatest anticancer activity because of their flavinoids that inhibit an enzyme that causes cancer. Eating half a cup a day will get these benefits.

Any fruit you eat is healthier than the one that remains in a bowl for table decoration. By all means, eat the decorations! Apples tend to stay high on the list of healthful snacks. Oranges are a close second.
