I think love is over rated today, I feel when we all first meet there is a spark that is out of control, It's all got to do of the newness and the unknown what the person can offer. Then after that is all done there comes the comfort zone in both men and woman. Ladies remember when you made sure a hair was not out of place and now your into sweat pants and Men hey remember when that lady you just met has you all excited and nothing is too good. Now your screaming "What time is dinner I am starving"
Underneath it all if you two are the best of friends then you made it.

Love is a Philosophical term used to describe a mental and physical attraction between 2 human beings.
Love will last as long as the 2 conditions are met.
Once one of the 2 disappear then love turns to respect, common interests, laziness to hunt for another mate.

It is everything. You need trust, respect, 'magic' for love. If you don't have those basics then you are just settling.
Then again, just because you trust and respect someone doesn't mean it's love either.

I think it's a combnation of the three, for a good relationship you need balance. You need to respect them, trust them and have some magic! If you have all three you'll have never been happier

It does last. You need to find the one that is right for you. I mean if you find your true love and then it will always last. Respect is a part of love but it is not a basis for it.

Because of burnout.
When people died at 30 staying together for a lifetime was the thing.
Now that people live to see 80, it often becomes a burden. People have too short an attention span for that.

love is respect and trust if the trust is gone and thelov then what are you left with nothing so thats why some women and men don,t last

when you're young, what you think of as love is, to a large extent, passion and endless sex. When that dies down, the thing that can remain is trust.

Love is respect, trust, faith, faithfulness, support,caring, sharing,communication,a feeling of sensation and satisfaction. When there is all of these and LOVE it does last.
