sometimes people are just better off as friends, relationships sometimes ruin a good friendship.she may be jealous of the fact if you find someone else then your friendship wont be as strong because you will have someone else in your life, doesnt mean she wants you as a partner herself.im in a similar situation myself,my boyfriend has a female best friend, she is in love with him.its difficult.but only time will tell what will happen.

It will not work. That jealousy will always be there. It is like my boyfriend and I had broke up but were still kind of seeing each other because we said we would just be friends. But we found that we couldn't becuase, we didn't want one another to be with someone else so we found out that we had to be together or couldn't be friends because people was only getting hurt..

Is she is such a close friend she would be happy that you could go out and find someone who can make you happy. Good friends don't hold emotional blackmail over your head.
Ask her once again if she says no then go on your way and find a lovely lady to forfil your every wish. Like I said if she was a good friend she would be happy for you!

Wow!!! same kind of thing is happening to me. We have not dated yet but he basically told one of my guy friends, Johnny, that he better not ever date me.lol.me and Johnny are friends but more like brother sister kind of thing. I like the guy and he likes me but he is going to collage next year and i think he is sacred that it wont work out and that i would rather date someone in my high school. this is all very confusing. he wants me yet he doesn't want me but he doesn't want anyone dating me.

Set things straight. Either you 2 go out and see what comes out of it, or get on with your life and recommend her a terapist.

Tell her, "You can't have it both ways. You either want to be with me or not. I'm not going to be lonely just to make you comfortable."
