Smoked turkey, cornbread dressing, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, gravy, mandarin orange bowl, broccoli cheese casserole. We also have triple chocolate cheesecake, pumpkin pie and pecan pie. Some was already made, like the turkey and pies. The rest I made. And sorry, the cornbread dressing is a secret family recipe. Happy Thanksgiving!

I bought a teeny 8 pound fresh turkey for two of us. Making that and cornbread/biscuit stuffing, candied sweets, green beans with almonds, and whole cranberry sauce. Gravy and pie, of course. I'm used to cooking a big meal, so this will be different. The worst thing I do is take the liver after cooking the innards in broth for gravy, and mash it up with a pat of butter and some sherry and fresh pepper. We eat it on some buttery cracker or whatever. It's only once a year and I love that part. Whatever you do, just enjoy it!

We had the main Thanksgiving last week. Turkey, gravy, mashed garlic potatoes, stuffing, and green bean casserole. And we get to do it again tomorrow!
Today I'm just making a pie and some seafood chowder.

i made the basic thanksgiving items. my stuffing didn't turn out the best. i used a different brand, pepperidge farm, i usually use bell's, never again. my favorite seems to be eaten in new england mostly. it is baby carrots and white turnips cooked together and then mashed with butter like potatoes. hope you enjoy your dinner. it's already 5:30 pm here and i've had my nap.

I made a baked chicken with stuffing, mac n cheese potato salad and a choclate cake to wash it all down with.
A lot of food for just one person but I won't have to shop for a week.
