It's a fruit right?
So you can eat a fruit raw.(or at least I thought so)

You sure can but they're awfully tart. Lots of cranberry relish recipes use ground fresh cranberries. I've also read that if a person has a tendency to get urinary infections, they should freeze fresh cranberries when they're easy to find and then eat a handful whenever they feel an UTI coming on.

I'm sure you can...that's the way they were made for eating; humans just changed them to suit or own tastes--dried or roasted or such. Just make sure you wash them first in case of any residue or something from growing them. Other than that, go ahead and indulge.

nothin is wrong with eating a raw cranbarry thats the way that they were eaten orginally

Raw? I don't know about that, but i know you can eat dried ones and fresh ones.
