I did the Atkins diet for 5 weeks and shed about 5 kg. However, if you don't drink enough water then it can get dangerous.. Also, I felt quite hungry on it during the work day. I ate lots of cheese at night which was a bit naughty, but i still lost the weight. It was the fastest weight loss I've experienced.

Since then i've kept it off by exercising. :)

First of all , are you sure that you want to or more importantly need to lose weight.

Next question , how old are you ?

Are you above the average weight , for your age , sex and height ? If so , then carry on !

If you are under the age of consent in your Country , then ask your parents.....or visit your Doctor.

He will more than likely give you a Diet Sheet , that will encourage you to eat , more fruit , salad and vegetables........less fat , sugar and salt ........drink more water......and exercise more.

You will laso be advised to keep a Food Diary , and eat smaller portions , of Protein , Carbohydrates , and less fats.

Avoid foods cooked in fat, also biscuits , pies , cakes , sausages , sausage rolls , sweets , chocolates , etc , as they all contain , fats , sugars , salt , in excessive amounts to the amount that you should be eating .

A combination of Exercise and Diet , is normally recommended , as being the best way to lose weight.

The recommended weight loss rate is approximately one pound per week.

Depending on what weight you are now....up to 10 pounds per month can be lost , by the above method !

Hypnotherapy , can help you to change the way you think about Food and Exercise.

I am a Hypnotherapist.....

The above method, was tested , in American Hospitals , on seriously obese people , and the average weight loss , was 10 pounds per month. good luck !

80% of the clients who lost weight with Hypnosis never put that weight back on again !

No more yoyo diets !

Hey, i lost 3 stone! i am now 8 stone which is the right weight. How did i do it? well, i made sure i cut down on all snacks and the unhealthy stuff. I then made a TRUTHFUL list of everything i ate and if i had a snack i got have to do something in return like go for q run or swim or something! sounds harsh i know but it defiantly worked for me. Also my last tip is to drink a full glass of water before every meal^^this is because it fills you up and therefore stops you from eating as much.
all the best and good luck

plz read all that
**** the food !!!!!!!!!
dnt waste ur life conting calories and sticking to unhealthy diests that makes u feel so bad, what kind of life is that ?
LISTEN NOW
eat helthy plzz not so much of course just eat like a normal person, not who wants to lose weight...
THE REAL HARDS WORKand energy focused should be on sports
u know that u eat like 2400 calories a day and u can cancel like 1000 by just walking for a half an hour???
imagine ur self now practising and running in a track many times ????
most ppl who try that way and fail its because they just dnt commit.
choose a good timing and go like 5 or 6 hours a week to the track.
also remember to drink water all the time it makes feel like.. not hungry and it also gets ur skin to look better =)

Its all about calories, what you eat is calorie intake what you put out in the form of excercise is calorie output. As long as the latter exceeds the former doesn't matter what the quantities are.

If you increase excercise without increasing calorie intake you will lose weight. Do15mins of excercise (just up and down stairs will do) then finish with a warm 'options' drink or something around 40 calories - the feel good factor is great.

Honestly you have to realize it's not going to be easy. You have to discipline yourself to eat healthy and not overeat. You also have to have an exercise routine that you stick with.

I joined the Cross Country team my senior year of high school and lost 35 pounds! We ran around 3 miles 5 days a week. It was easy because we all did it. Find a friend to workout with and it can be easier to stick with it because you can motivate each other.

If you want to lose weight and keep it off you just have to change your lifestyle to where healthy eating and exercise habits are involved.

Loseing weight is the easy part of the process, keeping the weight off for a lifetime is the challenge. I lost 35lbs and 20" in 4 months and have maintained my weight for 4.5 years by doing Herbalife. I urge you to check it out, no matter what you have heard. It worked for me and millions of others around the world, so the track record is strong, good luck...

Eating smaller portions and exercising ....honestly your diet is 80% of weight loss and 20% is exercising. Don't try diet pills or possibly harmful things. The diet things you see on the internet and T.V. are just advertisements to get money for themselves, they don't care about you. They mostly don't even work! Just follow what I am saying eat smaller portions, watch your diet, and exercise atleast once a day. I guarantee you will lose weight and feel better too!

Good Luck! :)

Watch your diet, not just what you are eating but how much. To lose weight you need to help your stomach to understand it needs less food to feel full. Especially watch out for fats and hidden sugars in processed foods (did you know there is added sugars in the cartons of orange juice made from concentrated juice?) If food has been processed it is not likely to be of as much benefit as something made fresh. There's plenty of meals that can be made as quickly as bunging something in the microwave, but are certainly more healthy.

More exercise helps you to burn off the calories and has the added benefit of helping you to feel good (exercise releases endomorphins).

Best thing of all ..... will power. If you really want to lose weight, you will! Good luck!
