A lot of my boyfriend's buddies want to be set up with my sister. They have never met her, haven't seen any pictures of her, and I haven't told them anything about her. And yet one of the guys said that he would break up with his girlfriend of two months just so he can go on a date with my sister. Is this normal guy behavior or has my boyfriend made some really weird friends? I've never experienced anything like this until recently.

My boyfriend DID tell them something about her - that she is a bit of a gold digger who only dates rich guys.

LOL oh my God..if they really think she looks like me then they are in for a surprise. I actually had some work done on my face so I don't look like anyone in my family.

The guys that say these things are going on the way you look and they know you are taken but maybe they know your sister is available. They also figure your sister looks very much like you and since they can't have you or date you they will or would like to date your sister. After all sisters and brothers often look very much alike. Another way to look at it is that it could be and probably is a compliment to you since these guys think you are a beautiful young lady and so must be your sister.

Well i suppose they r just complimenting u on your looks seeing as your sister probobly looks some what like u but personally they sound like retards and not all boys are like that like my boy freind is nice hot not wrong and sick in the mind beacause breaking up with your girlfriend of 2 months 4 a girl he has never met sounds stupid

It's most likely a form of compliment about you. They are jokingly making the assumption that if YOU are a certain look or personality, then your sister must be the same.
Just like if a couple of women are talking and one of them starts bragging how perfect her new beau is, the other usually asks if he has a brother.
Don't look too much into it, it's a compliment to you.

Why would they want her? Does she look like you? If she does then that is why. You see guys are into looks. But they are all shallow. I would not set any of them up with her. Why do such a disservice to your sister? From your picture you are extremely beautiful. Like Miss Universe beautiful so guys are going to want to go out with you or her. Send them packing.

ever though that maby you are wrong that maby your bf told them what she looks like or maby even he asked them to say they wanted a date so he can see your reaction I mean what if he is trying to help his bud and maby your the only one that can get your sister and his bud hooked up thought of that maby so but this is the one thing that seems logical and I can find no other reason for me to accept as possible since I myself dont know your sisiter take care hope this info helps

Sounds like these boys rather like you and believe that your sister would be like a mirror image of you and that is why they are keen to date her. Tell your boyfriend that their comments are bothering you or tell them that your sister is going to become a nun or is gay.
And unfortunately it is normal neanderthal behavior from boys!

Its normal that they want to be hooked up with your sister, a lot of people do that. I mean maybe they think you are cute, and they think your sister will look like you so they want to go out with her.
Its normal dont worry about it, but you dont have to hook them up with your sister!! i wouldnt do that, but you can always introduce them to her.

yeah this is normal where guys want to date your sister especially if you and your sister are around the same age.
