Sounds like she's emptying her anal glands. Usually they empty when going to the bathroom, but some animals need to have them emptied at the groomer or veterinarian before they get impacted. Animals often empty anals when scared (kind of like a skunk). I've never actually heard of an animal emptying them when shaking or stretching. I'd ask your vet if there's a way to prevent this.

Some dogs like beagles and Bassets have a small gland near thei behind, they need to be squeezed in order to get the fluid out. Your vet should do this from time to time and prevent it from filling up and causing the smell.

She had a bladder stone and MRSA in canines form.My fur toddler purely had a foul issue from the begining so do no longer panic! yet do no longer forget approximately this take her to the Vet as quickly as possible. in the event that they do say its a stone decide for the preventitive drugs and don't make the comparable mistake with surgical treatment we made. different possible much less extreme reasons: UTI Fell in something outdoors. Vaginal yeast an infection. choose's anal glands extracted. desires a good previous vogue grooming! lol good success i'm hoping you come across out whats incorrect quickly!

If you take your dog to the vet they will release the fluid from the gland there and maybe (hopefully) clean things out a bit.

Sounds like she's popping her anal glands. Better she does it on her own than they get stopped up and you have to pay someone to release that fowl smelling waste (ie: vet or groomer).
Sorry, part of the anatomy. Perhaps you should have her checked by a vet to see why it's happening so frequently outside of doing big business in the yard.

I have a 50 llb girl who was having trouble with her annal glands. The vet had to express them. I put her on one Metamucil pill a day and it cured the problem. Fiber adds bulk to the stool and helps the annal glands to empty naturally while they are going to the bathroom. Worth a try.

Take the dog to the vet!
It is fluid from the anal glands. If it's shooting out, there is something wrong with the anal glands. If you let this go, they will rupture, and the dog will need surgery.
