I was just curious if you can freeze spinach deep or if anyone has done this? If you have, what was your experience with it after defrosting it? Did any of the mayo or sour cream separate or were you able to mix it back together?

I'm making some now, but it's going to be too much & if I can freeze rather than toss it down the garbage disposal I'd prefer to do that.

Thanks in advance for all your answers, comments, and your experience with doing this!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Yes you can freeze spinach dip.
(You do mean dip right? The stuff you use with chips or carrot or celery sticks?)
When you defrost it just stir it and it will be fine. :-)

Happy American Thanksgiving (Us Canadians had it in October)

Freeze Spinach Dip

I can only guess that it might get watery upon thawing. But still perfectly edible. Just really squeeze all that water out the spinach well, and when defrosting, maybe have something to add in case it gets watery, like more spinach or sour cream.

I figure if stores can sell frozen dip, we should be able to do it too.

WHY NOT? PUT IT IN THE BACK OR THE BOTTOM OF YOUR FREEZER, WHATS THE DIFFERENCE? THE ENTIRE FREEZER WILL BE THE SAME TEMPERATURE.

GOD BLESS
