I know someone who is interested in drinking blood...I am looking for information on safety (Where to cut? With what?), concerns (infections, etc.) and any other related information. This is vampirish, not tribal cows blood-milk nutritional drink.
Any help, advice, etc. is greatly appreciated.

I should say that this person is not me, but rather someone I am close to, who I care about very much...I love him a lot, and want to help him make an informed decision before he drinks any blood, be it his own, or someone elses.
I understand that lots of people view this as "sick" and "disgusting" and I would prefer that you only answer this if you have something serious to share with me, as this is a very serious subject. Thanks for your time.

i hope your talking about an intimate act with someone you wish to be VERY close with, and not the general public. a little bit of blood is not harmful, unless the "donor" is ill. small cuts in areas not seen by the general public is a good idea. no need for others to know about such practices.

Personally, I think this practice is extremely dangerous as there are many bloodborne diseases that have no cure and you're "friend" would really be taking a chance..and I means a huge chance of becoming infected. The second thing is, ingesting blood will cause it to become like "coffee grounds" in your stomach and most people cannot tolerate it, so it comes up in vomit. How about a nice hot chocolate? Godloveya.

nicely, like something we consume or drink, the biggest, is moderation. particular, in case you drink say, 2 12 packs an afternoon, each and on a daily basis, for 10 years, you will be obese, probably rot out your tooth, and be hyper each and all the time...besides, you're probably going to contract diabetes from the sugar intake....however the myth of DDT of insecticides is purely undesirable exposure....there is extra insecticides in cigarettes. I many times consume approximately 3-4 cans an afternoon, of coke, pepsi, 7up or Rootbeer, and after that, i will commerce with water, milk, or juice....surely relies upon on how warm i'm, with the climate, or what i'm thirsty for.

Hi there !
It would have helped me a lot if you had told me..which country you belonged to !
because "safety concerns" and "rules" and "regulations" vary from country to country !
anyway..my concerns are ::::
1. "someone" whom you know is interested in drinking "whose" blood ? "his own" ? or "others" ?
2. Why "you" should be looking for information on "where to cut, and how to cut", as long as the "someone " is NOT you AND
3. You are NOT trying to help that "someone" ' ???
If that "someone" is going to enjoy "his own blood"..forget about it ! concerns are his...right ?
If "you are going to drink somebody else's blood" or "somebody else is going to drink your blood" , safety aspects are to be thought about ! In simple terms, what all problems faced by homosexuals ..or drug addicts nowadays, could be yours for FREE (!like hepatitis, AIDS and other infections.....)
If you are going to help that some one, concerns could be yours again, as you could be working against the
"law of the land /country" and the "WHO guidelines"..and you could end up in getting prosecuted..that also for free !
Take care ! Think twice before you make any decisions !
and best wishes !

This is not even cool and I would tell your friend or the person you know that its not a good idea at all. There are so many things to worry about with drinking blood....especially your own. If you make a wrong move you could bleed to death. Any way you do it is wrong...its just gross. Tell them to stick to juice.

This person needs to speak with their doc. Regardless whose blood it is, it sounds generally unsafe. There could be infections and bacteria that are carried in a person's blood that are unknown to anyone without a blood test.

It's not safe to drink blood. Blood was never meant to be digested, and it's a great way to spread disease.
