There is an amazing bakery in Novato, on Grant.
I forget the name but its the best pastry ever!!!!
Lately the Safeway bakery is also doing a great job,

I like Sugar Bowl Bakery, they have a few locations. There is also a French bakery (sorry forgot the name) on Pine and Fillmore, kinda pricery but really yummy.

Dianda's Italian Bakery on Mission between 24th & 25th streets is the best. Their St Honore cake is the best cake ever!
