It 1841 the word "dinosaur" was first created and used.

Before that they were known by many different names.
Most of the time they were called dragons.
In the Bible they are called dragons, Leviatan, Behemoth and unicorns.

Things don't exist until there are believed to exist. For instance, the world was flat until Galileo and Newton in the Renaissance. Everything exists in nature, our beliefs mentally define nature, and the physical is the results of our definitions. Nothing physically exists that isn't defined by something.

Dinosaurs were called unicorns? Which dinosaur do you propose looked like a unicorn? Unicorns are as fictitious as the bible, that's why they are in it.

That's like saying there was nothing before it was named. There was no gravity until Newton...hm... yes. I don't think that works!

And dragons, unicorns etc were mythical. No one actually believed they existed, they were just a nice part of fairytales...
