Newbiegranny is correct. I believe the only answer, horrible as it may seem, is to get the USAmerican soldiers [ and others ] out of the country and let them have their civil war. The other answer, which they would have to agree to, is to partition the country into three. They would probably still have a civil war though. The USA soldiers are stuck in a terrible position and I, for one, feel extremely sorry for them. They are doing the best that they can in the circumstances. I am not USAmerican but I urge you to use any method you can to persuade your politicians to get those poor troops out of there.

Iraqis no longer want to be Iraqis. They want to be Sunni or Shiite. Iraqis do not want to take their country back as Iraqis. American troops are stretched to limits. Troops are deploying for Their 3rd or 4th tours. They wear 3 stars on their CIB or their CAB. Maybe the only way to stop it is with a very large force of over 500,000 troops but where are we going to get that. The other way is to have another brutal dictator. Iraqis have to be a people now for the sake of Iraq not the sake of a religion. The killing goes on because no one knows how to stop it.

Well, let´s say that they just do´t want to, because they must prove that they have power and they can eve... kill! That´s the reason that so many people vote for him... but not anymore! To take Bush out on the next election is a good start!

ya but isn't that what your dumb *** country went there to stop??

160 dead in a day, bush must be getting close to Saddam by now, we're gonna take him to court next, we'll give the whole administration the death penalty.

it is because the Commander in chief has ordered them in there and now the troops are trapped trying to just stay alive.

Bush has thousands and thousands of deaths on his head including his own troops'. I am sure no one is thankful for this war.
Im sure the Iraqi's are not very thankful either as they now live in a worse hellhole than ever before.

How can you suppose that the US Military is that powerful? We DO have the best military, but we are fighting people... people who have their own opinion and do what they want to do with no regard to others. How do you control others when they have no sense of good and evil?

Our troops can`t be every where. Just imagine if you are in a big city, there is no way to control every person. That is why we have crime, the police can only do so much.

BTW: I've got this bridge in NY that I'm looking to sell.... will you buy that too?

they don't have adequate troops, we need 3-4X the number of people we currently have, we should have gone in with the people to do the job properly or not at all

Most Iraquis are killed by other Iraquis. As hard as they try, the US soldiers can't defeat religious bigotry.
