Economy? - read, watch the compulsory movie, have a walk (but only as far as first class) sleep sitting up if you can.

First class? Read, choose which movies to watch from a choice of about 30, walk where you like, sit at the bar and chat, Put your bed down and sleep in between the gorgeous meals you have chosen from the menu earlier. Phone friends, work with your laptop.

before i go on the plane i buy my fave mag and a couple of sweets and i seat m self. i sit still for a while, mostly 15 Min's after they start the plane, and then i ask for a couple of pretzels and coke and i watch the little screen.
then i get out my mag and read and read and to the word search.
Then i read a small book i brought with me and AFTER that i eat and then i go the the toilet and then sleep and then i annoy the person sitting behind me and in front of me but putting the seat back and keep on opening and closing the small table. He-He

I usually sleep, especially when at the controls....

If your in the cattle class seats try watching the movies or listening to your MP3 player, doing foot exercises everytime the track changes.

Puzzles just make you tired, and your not refreshed when you arrive, same with reading, just relax and don't drink too much.

I generally watch the in-house movies, so I try to choose airlines that have individual screens and personalised movie-selection in my seat.

Other than that, I would play the in-house games or read a book and then sleep when I'm bored.

Try to read and find myself pulling up on the armrests to
keep the plane flying. When I arrive safely, I say a little prayer
and find my arms sore from helping the engines from failing!

listen to music (they tend to have radio shows you can listen to through a headphone socket in your armrest), watch the films/TV programs, read a book, sleep, take a puzzle magazine (guaranteed to keep you amused, just don't forget a pen!), some games if you're travelling with someone (card games are great), or sleep (helps with the jet lag, so i thought i'd list it twice!)
