I'll be basic. In my opinion it influences some people's health in a positive way. People can watch boxing and become amazed at conditioning of a fighter. Watching Tyson when I was a teen would make me want to go lift weights or run for miles. As I got stronger I started getting my friends to work out too, so there was kind of a ripple effect I suppose. If there was no Muhammad Ali, MANY of the fighters today probably wouldn't be around. Alot of them were inspired by Muhammad. A great deal of nonboxers were inspired by his actions inside and outside the ring. I think boxing has had a big impact on a good portion of people's health and society in general, more than what is generally recognized. I don't know if that's the type of answer you were looking for, but, yeah... there's my opinion.
