can a 14 year old leagally ride a dirt bike that can go about 50 mph on the roads in IL ? do i need some kind of license or something. couse i really want one and i have the money too just have to get the bike some how

A true dirt bike is not legal on roads until it has turn signals street tires and a horn it would also have to be under 50cc's to escape licensing that's the rules where i come from.......if your just bringing it home KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN FOR BACON !

i don't think that you are allowed to ride on the streets but i believe that u can ride on tracks. and for the bike u might want to look for a honda or yamaha. cuz these are the best out there. they are great quality and handles alot of beating. these bikes can give u great grip on the dirt and give high air. and also their teams pratically own the races the are dominant companys in this feild.
