this is in relation to someone i met through a dog training club and who at first seemed a real nice genuine guy .He is widowed and I have been divorced 10 years and didnt feel that going out for a odd meal could cause problems by him falling in too deep even though i was very careful but nice in not showing him my heart during this short period of time. yet he still felt the need to accuse me of leading him on .

why did you go out for meals with him ? of course he thought things would go further ! i think you were just feeling lonely and needed a friend, why not have a night out with your female friends instead

if he took the situation wrongly, it is probably his fault. explain directly, but kindly, that you only wanted friendship.
