if so why and what do you do about it. I can't quite make my mind up whether it's just the time of the year or something else! I've been feeling like cr*p all this week and it's not right cos I'm normally always bubbly and so. I get upset about petty things and can't pop out of it. :((((((((((

No it's not PMS. Never suffered from it.

Yep. Think it's the time of year with me. I'm young, free and single, yet instead of going out and indulging, I'm holed up indoors looking at the same 4 walls and bored to tears. Every little thing p**ses me off and I feel like I'm going to explode with anger or burst into tears! Hopefully it will pass given a little time. Try doing things that make you feel good. I find retail therapy particularly helpful! Get some of that crimbo shopping done.

hey
Yeah i am always depressed. Both of my parents deserted me at the age of 6 and pissed of with there new parners. I am 15 now living with people i dont like. i get depressed and upset really easily and always take things the wrong way. I feel as if i have no self worth. I am suicidal and have been for the past 3 years. I do self harm aswell. Which is not good. I try to divert my mind by riding and caring for my pony. Its always best through the summer - start of winter as all of the shows and competitions are on. Treating your self to a shopping splurge also helps especially when its with your best mate... means you can have a laugh. Take a camera out with you so you can take some piccys of your selfs... gives you something to look back on and have a laugh about. I also love treating myself to spa treatments... go to your beautician and have a massage or facial... with some extras on the side like eyebrow wax and manacuire. its all good... just smile and think possitive. Much loves xxxx

I know how you're feeling. Just got the blues ey... I seem to have it repetitively every year. SAD?? Everything seems wrong and the littlest thing upsets me. It's almost like my senses are acutely tuned to the negative in any situation.

But I do have my gloves on for this year's bout! I will maintain a bright smile! I'll remember times that I felt really good...u know..really get a sense of that great warm happy feeling. I'll make some bright, vivid pictures to suit them feelings and I will just tell myself "I'M FEELING GOOD BABY"..u know.. Take control of it. You drive your brain, not the other way around. Tell the old nogging what to feel and it will!!

That's my theory anyway.. 8-)

I feel the same quite regularly...once every few months or something. Feels like you have one of those cartoon clouds over your head doesn't it, like it's only raining on you and no one else!
It will probably just pass, after a few days or so...try doing things which you know make you feel good! Have a bubble bath, go out with good friends. . .
For me, it's renting Bridget Jones (either), getting a pizza or chinese (tough choice) and a bottle of red wine!!
Hope you get better...x

I don't feel depressed, but it is annoying to be subjected to all the "holiday cheer" and fakeness that starts the day after halloween now. Christmas is now a 4 month event courtesy of every store in America. Just take it down a notch and focus on what is meaningful to you and ignore the hype.

We all get depressed I'm now on happy pills.
Don't think they do much as I am a very layed back person and don't let things bother me that much.
Hey sh1t happens to us all it just depends on how you release your excess frustration.
I found it was just a build up of as you said petty things and it finally got too much as I bottle things up and put a happy face on for other people. They think everythings OK so you just roll with it.

Everyone gets depressed from time to time. Give it a few weeks and see what you are like then! I highly recommend exercise even if it is only walking.
Take up a new hobby, get new college course. Just keep active.
