Hypothesis

If a ball rolls down a ramp that has a height of 8 inches and is 96 inches long, to lubricate the ramp the following items will be used Vaseline, car oil, liquid soap, vinegar, grease. Then car oil will be the best to lubricate the ramp grease will be second best, Vaseline is going to be third best, then liquid soap is going to be forth best, and vinegar is going to be in last place

why do you need lube if the ball is already rolling?

Your sister is wise.
A) There is no actual hypothesis and
B) If you worded it so that your hypothesis was about the relative lubricative qualities of the chosen media then it would still be an experiment with very little base for a science project. All you would be able to do is time the ball. Unless you're looking to go into the viscocity of each lubricant and what makes it a better/worse lubricant then there's not a lot to write about. Also, in your hypothesis, the height and length of the ramp are completely irrelevant.

If you want the ball to roll, you should probably use nothing.
