Ok, just remember, the LONGER you wait to start eating healthy and losing the weight, the HARDER it's going to be. Unfortunately our metabolisms slow down alot as we age. So do it for yourself! Get up, get moving. Once you start, it will become habit, and even when you don't want to, you'll feel great when those pounds start coming off! Good luck!

I know how you feel. I'm at the highest I have ever been, about 225-230 (?), I'm 45 at 5'5". It is hard and especially when like you said, "I know how to". The motivation has to come from you. I know that sounds corny but no one can really make you or tell you how to do it until you are ready. It is the same as smoking, you know you have to quit, but you can't do it till you are ready. If you are at a low point in your life (that is me), try getting out with your friends, or just try getting out period. Try not to sit around, get out and do things. this might help you feel better about yourself. I wish you all the best of luck and all I can say that if you are asking for help now - I would say you are ready and the motivation will probably come to you soon.....

Try joining a gym with a friend, having someone to go with cuts down on bailing out. Or I could tell you I am 30 to, 5'10" and 116 pounds. I am not saying that to be mean but as a push. Really doing it with a friend is the best way to go, it makes it social and fun. If not that take up martial arts or dance they are both effective but have another factor of cost. If your paying for it you are more opt to use it.
