Virgin Birth

Christianity - God says you're pregnant. Poof! Mary got pregnant.
Outcome - Jesus

Science - In order to concieve a child a sperm and an egg HAVE to meet.
Outcome - If your wife tells you she's pregnant without your manseed, get a DNA test.

Ascension to heaven

Christianity - Jesus came back form the dead, and rose up to heaven.
Outcome - He now sits next to God on the right side.

Science - After you die, rigor mortis sets in and your body begins to rot. After laying in a cave for three days Jesus' body would have been bloated and disgusting. And coming back to life at that point, ISN"T POSSIBLE. Then he rose to heaven, without a jetpack, because as you know you can't fly unless you are a bird. Then he went to heaven. Where is heaven? In space? Jesus went to space. The human body CANNOT survive space without a spacesuit.
Outcome: Somebody's lying

Let's just face it folks. Christianity is a fairy tale.

Parthenogenesis occurs naturally in some species, including lower plants (called agamospermy), invertebrates (e.g. water fleas, aphids, some bees and parasitic wasps), and vertebrates (e.g. some reptiles, fish, and, very rarely, birds)

AKA - Not Humans.

Yeah, well, the real issue is this. There are at this moment something in excess of six billion human beings on the planet - that's billion with a B. Now, if YOU feel grateful for, and glad of, your right to think and believe exactly as you want to, then you have to honor the equal right of the rest of that six billion to enjoy the exact same thing - the inalienable right of each and every one of them, to be the owner of his own mind, and the master of his own thinking and believing.
I am, personally, not into the religion thing - as far as believing in the existence of a Mysterious Invisible Superbeing who rewards total obedience, and has a very nasty punishment waiting for all dissenters, once they leave this life and pass into Eternity. But I show no disrespect for those who do hold that belief. My personal "religion" happens to be good health, and I pursue it diligently. However, if I had struck off my "Friend List" everyone I ever knew who was a fast food addict, and confessed that they hated broccolli, I would have missed out on some wonderful relationships over the years LOL.

Your explanations are, for lack of a better term, biased and with limits you placed on it.

Admittedly how the whole immaculate conception thing worked is a mystery. But if another man was some how involved Joseph would have left and Mary would have been killed, you need to look past what's right in front of your eyes.

as for Resurrection and Ascension. On the Atomic and cellular level. If a God exists( and does) he would have the ability to manipulate and control everything. so he could reform a body if needed, and reform in a perfect form that could not, would not die. yes even in space. just think of him as Superman, and a little more spiritual.

Again, before you come to broad black or white conclusions you need to look past the evidence in front of you and ask why. true scientists do this. Most of which are religious. So sorry your argument holds no water.

Many people are skeptical... you see.. when asking this question many people says... " and how do you explain the big bang... where do all planets come from... who created the space... and the galaxies?" I asked this type of questions and got my acct suspended from yahoo... it used to be iandtehworld... Christians are religion fanatics only, those who say "god will save me and I give my soul to Christ" that is the same thing that Islamic people or whatever they are called did on September 11, how does that make you different, if christians have also killed in the name of god... lets not forget Joanne of arch... I'm fine with people believing they will be saved and all that... but let's keep it real.. and keep it in the first level... the day that I die, I will tell God (if I come accross him) You know what, I am an agnostic, because you never sent me a sign, how did I know that I wasn't supposed to throw myself down a building to seek salvation??. Things are ment to be mystikal, it is our faith (not exactly faith for god) what moves us.

By the way to people who asks if science can explain everything, that's true, science can't explain anything at all... can the bible do it?? can God tell us why the reason of the big bang, couldnt he create everything without it? couldnt he creat more living organisms without have an big stone crash into yucatan mexico so all the dinasours would die? if sex is sin... why he didnt created us to be asexual? and many more...

These are called miracles. It's when God takes control of nature for an intended outcome. If you refuse to believe in this possibility, then Christianity just isn't for you.

No, Heaven isn't in space. Heaven is completely apart from the physical world.

You forget that Jesus was both man and God, therefore is above "science". The fact that Jesus was conceived the way he was, and did come back to life and went to heaven, is proof in itself that he wasn't just a nice guy who was good, but he IS the Lord.

Science can only explain things that it can reproduce.

To read about miracles, try doing a web search for "miracles healing" or check out Guideposts publications as they always have reports of miracles that God is doing today.

The things you mentioned are special to Christians because they defy human logic and are "miracles". Why would some guy who was a regular human be able to save us?

Jesus was a real person, in CCD we learned there were old, old documents of Jesus' crusifiction. I totally understand what you are saying. There is no definite thing about religion, it is just what you believe.
