I've found a million sites but they all wanta credit card number and I don't want to go through the hastle of canceling the damn thing nor do I care to give them my credit card info. I know by law the agencies have to give u a free report annually but how do u get it without signing up? Is there anywhere online where you don't ahve to sign up for anything to get your report? If not will the bank give it to me?

I'm sorry to tell Renee that there is only one site that is absolutely free: AnnualCreditReport.com. It's the ONLY government approved site to get your free credit report from each of the bureaus.
They don't ask for your credit card # and does not require you to sign up for any services. If you want your credit score, you will have to pay for that.
If you find any other site that offers a 'free credit report' ignore them.

I have some toll free 1-800 numbers of all 3 credit bureaus, and they are REQUIRED by LAW to give you your report without charging you:
Equifax: 1-866-798-6598
Experian: 1-800-734-4617
TransUnion: 1-800-888-4213
Unfortunately there are no websites that don't charge you. I am a member of www.mycreditkeeper.com and they not only give me my credit scores, but they monitor my credit report 24/7, 365 days a year. They contact me if anything suspicious goes on. It is $7.99 a month and a tremendous help. You get a lot for very little money; I have been very satisfied with this service. Best of Luck!

I dont know the site but when you go to one of the site that you have mentioned, look at the part where it says this site not affiliated with the free credit report allowed by federal law and click there , it should take you to the area where you can see your report from the three credit reporting agencys, you can recieve one report from each agency in a calender year

In mose states in US, you have the rights to receive free credit reports or at a minimal charge. There are 3 agencies in USA. They are as follows:

www.equifax.com
www.transunion.com
www.ExperianDirect.com

Note: I believe you do not need to know provide your credit card number to get the reports from these agencies.

Please use only the official federal website for free credit reports:

http://official.fastfreecreditreports.com

That is exactly what you are looking for and thats the only safe site.
