I would not buy a bike without its log book.Sure it is gonna help you a lot.
I have a friend with 2001 nissan and bad engine.Has all logs up to date etc.Changed oil every 3000 miles. What you do not see in the log of this specific vehicle is that him and his friends like to car race.So much about log books upss!

Do you mean a log book of the service that has been performed?? Not unless the owner just kept all the records. It's not a requirement. It's very rare.

i own a repair shop and it all depends on what your version of a log book is for a car,, unless the previous owner has kept real good records for the car there wont be any such type of book with it, usually the meaning of a log book is record of mileage,an you probably wont get one with a used car at all ,,good luck,i hope this help,s.
