My skin is dry already, but I still get horrible acne in my T zone, and on my cheeks. Then I use acne medication, like netrogena, and it just turns completely dry and no moisturizer I've used have made an difference. And to top it off, I'm just smoothering my zits with it, so I feel like it's just going to make the acne worse.

What cleanser will really really work, like fast as a days time?
Any other methods work? Like freezing, or any home made remedies?
And what is hands down the best oil free moistureizer that I don't have to feel worried about putting on my skin, bought at drugstores?

Dry skin always so irritating...I hate it so much...I suggest you try using Zenmend Derma Lotion from Zenmed or Autopalm from Skinstore.com.

Zenmed has no side effects and it's non-irritant to the
skin. It's proven to works fast and it povides Maximum
results! It's certainly a good lotion to prevent further
outbreaks.

Another product that I think is effective is Atopalm. This dry skin mlm is one of the best seller at skinstore.com now. (Skinstore.com holds more than 10,000 skin care products) It's pretty effective, and worth the dollar paid out.

I have the same problem. The only thing I have found to work are as follows: Clean and Clear instant spot removal. It is in a small tube, slightly bigger than a tube of super glue; around $5 at Walmart. The cleanser I like is by Aveeno Clear Complexion cleanser. It doesnt seem to dry my skin out as bad. And the last thing that has made a real differnce is that I have increased my Vitamin B-2, which helps skin, nails, and hair. Always check with your doctor first though to see what the right dosage would be for you if any. Good Luck!

I have acne issues too so I've recently started seeing a dermatologist. I used to have really dry skin too. Just use the moisturizer because it won't make you're skin more oily. Did you know that you're skin produces oil because it's trying to find moisture? At first it will seem oily but you're skin will get used to it.Just apply it on the parts that are most dry. Moisturizing is very important.Remember eat healthy, exercise, and drink water.Good luck.

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.

The secret is never to touch the spots

Cetaphil is a good gentle cleanser and will not aggravate acne. They also make a Cetaphil moisturizer.

This is one of the things a dermatologist recommended for me. I did not have trouble with acne until I was in my late 20s. I had trouble for several years. He said this would not be harsh for my skin (and would not dry it out) and would not make the acne worse.

It may be a good idea to use Cetaphil cleanser to cleanse your skin and then put the moisturizer only on the dry areas.

Good luck to you.

There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made face packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html
