No, it should never be that violent. People should get turned around, but deadly force is only necessary when faced with a life threatening situation. I advocate people to fill the roles of border security, it puts a face on the law. The law being that you can only enter the country through an approved Port of Entry, and you must show proper documentation.

omg thats horriable! May I remind you that the white man stole California. It wasnt always part of America, it was infact Mexico. Killing those who choose to cross illegally would only start up a huge conflict and thats not something that America can handle right now. yes there should be motion sensored machine guns to do just that and then there should be a mine field past that the whole length of the border so should nayone cross and get past the machine guns then there are the mines to contend with

Apparently you haven't seen the videos of dozens of guys just storming the border checkpoint at Tijuana. The police were overwhelmed. The ones they caught they could only just turn around and send back to Tijuana.
