Wine comes in many varieties. Dry wines tend to be a little bitter. They use less sugar in the fermenting process. Merlot's are very good wines most of which are sweet and very tasty. They come in several flavors. I prefer a blackberry merlot. Any of the dessert wines are a good choice. But there are those who never aquire a taste for wine. Most of the fruit wines are more sweet and less bitter. Hope this helps. Oh yeah guess the answer is I do like wine....lol

It takes time to acquire a taste for wine. Try an ice cold Riesling white wine and see how you like it.

I used to love chardonnay until they went to that horrible barrel fermenting process. Too oaky. So now champagne has been my favorite for over 10 years. And even with liking one particular type of wine, there are still many different flavors in different bottlings. You may end up finding your favorites after a while.
