I got a rash down below from where I trimmed my hear down there with scissors. I am using diaper rash cream and that really isn't working. I am currently using Vaseline and hydrocortoizone cream because I had vaginal eczema but i stopped the hydrocortoizone because it seemed like it was drying me out and now i am just using Vaseline. Would Vaseline be ok? Also, if you have any tips please tell me! *I have never had eczema in the past* Could you also tell me why i get a rash when i trimwith scissors?

Eczema is an overactive immune response by the body. Try a mild antihistamine tablet. (some product with diphenhydramine as a prominent ingrediaent. Try treating the rash with an antibacterial product like phisohex (not phisoderm). or another product that has the ingredient hexachlorophene. After applyibg and then weashing off the antibacterial product (lotion?), use a little bit of of a skin moisturiser. (only a little). The rash should clear up in a few days.).
Vaseline is not the best teatment as it prevents air to get to the skin. A water based lubricant is a better solution. A pharmacist can recommend a good lotion. Your problem is a common one and they'll know how to treat it.
Please do not apply anything to the inside of your vaginal tract nor to your labia. They are very sensitive. Also be sparing as to the number of times you apply anything to your skin. It will clear up in 2 or 3 days. If not, have your family doctor or ob-gyn. have a look at it.
Doc. Dan.

use the medicated cream to clear up the eczema, and then use lots of general skin moisturiser to replenish the skin, vaseline isn't right for this, use the same expensive stuff you put on your lovely face

Dial Soap has antibacterial. Then try Baby Powder. Johnson and Johnson's Shower 2 Shower or Gold Bond. The powder really feels good on it.

It sounds like a yeast infection not eczema. Go to your doctor and get a perscription. I dont think it was caused by triming. Who was your last sexual partner?

Its probably because where you walk around after that the stubble irritates the skin all around there.
