Yeah I've heard of this and I think it's disgusting. Free will is one thing, but there's such a thing as taking it too far. Men and women each need some privacy.

There are arguments for having both.
Gender neutral restrooms are single use, for obvious reasons. Having all restrooms this way would be an extreme burden on places that have to provide facilities.
That said, transgendered individuals, especially around the time they transition, have almost no place to go. They would be harassed in either gender's restroom.
I know this almost first hand. I was with my ex-bf during the time he was transitioning from a female to a male. Prior to transitioning, he was verbally assaulted for using the women's changing rooms, even though it was obvious he had breasts. Fortunately, our gf was with him and basically told the woman where she could stick her complaint.
He had a difficult time finding gender neutral bathrooms during transition. He risked assault or arrest if he used the other restrooms.

I’ve purely seen family contributors restrooms. It makes it extra uncomplicated for a make sure to visual reveal unit their baby. if you're a father you would no longer pick to carry you daughter into the adult men’s room and also you wouldn’t experience comfortable contained in the girls room. I actually have heard of gender impartial restrooms at workplace. Does each person save in ideas best pal McBeal?

Unless there is only a single toilet in the bathroom, I say NO! Too many perverts out there. Too many evil men and women out there will take the opportunity to sexually assault people and children of the opposite sex. Bathrooms are dangerous enough as they are now despite being single sex bathrooms.

there should be a seperate mens room and womens room. there should only be a unisex restroom if it is a onesie-- One with a single toilet and sink, with a lock on the door.
people need their privacy.
in malls in my area, there are now family restrooms, which i think is great. there is an adult size sink and toilet, changing table, and also a kids size toilet and sink.

I say no, mainly because a lot of people would not feel comfortable using them for whatever reason.
