First of all -- it is 350 degrees F and 15 minutes per lb -- so for a total of 12 lbs -- you would be looking at about 3 hrs in the oven ... and about 4 hours in the oven for the 15 lb turkey.

what I do is use those oven bags -- and place the veggies in the bag with the turkey (and a bit of Orange Juice or Pineapple Juice in there too), then when the bag is sealed, I poke a few places with my fork on top of the bag to let steam out.

Then ... pop it into the oven, and keep watch every hour ... and DO use your Cooking Thermometer as well. When you can put that thermometer into the thickest part of the meat and it shows that the temp is within the recommended range for Poultry (and do this in Several spots of the Turkey), then you can take it out of the oven.

I use the "stock" then for other things (cut a hole in the oven bag and let it out first BEFORE opening the bag), and the veggies are nice and tender and can be placed in a veggie bowl.

The Turkey comes out REAL TENDER -- and delicious.

Get a roasting bag and that will cut down the cooking time by at least 1 hour..don't forget to put slits on the top of the bag.....and have a big roaster for the turkey & roasting bag.....and it says about 350 - 375 degrees.

About 1 hour for each 4 pounds of turkey and stuffing!

Well I hope you had your turkey in the oven this morning..otherwise you will be eating at 7:00 p.m. ha ha I think it is 375 degrees.
I am pretty sure it is 1/2 hour per pound.so for a 15 pounder that would equal out to be 4 hours 45 minutes.
Also if the legs start to separate from the turkey, and juices flowing..it is probably done.
use your computer calculator type in the number of pounds and multiply it by .30 equals your cooking time of turkey.
@ 375 degrees.

You should cook it at 375 degrees uncovered for a 1/2 to get a good browning and then reduce the heat to 350 and cover for at least 2 more hours.

325 degrees without a doubt. It will take about 3 3/4 hours if unstuffed...but if it's stuffed add another half hour per lb...so that would be about 5 hours lol...I'm just dictating what my wife is telling me...she's an uber Philippino cook muahahahaha....
